Levenhuk SkyMatic 105 GT MAK Telescope has two main advantages: Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design and a built-in GoTo function. The first advantage allows this model to deliver the views of the highest quality while staying very compact and lightweight. The second advantage provides for quick automatic navigation through the night sky. The GoTo function allows you to automatically locate more than 42,000 celestial objects with great precision and ease without needing to know their coordinates.
This telescope features an aperture of 4 inches and highest practical power of 204x and can be used for both planetary and deep-sky observations. With the addition of an SLR camera this model can be used for astrophotography.
The telescope comes with an azimuth computer-guided mount with hand controller. The SkyMatic GoTo mount can be powered by an external 12V battery pack. Levenhuk SkyMatic 105 GT MAK Telescope can also be connected to a PC (the cable is included in the kit) and controlled through popular planetarium software. Two achromatic eyepieces are also included in the kit. Since the focuser has standard 1.25-inch barrel diameter you can use eyepieces and other telescope accessories of any make and brand with this model to further increase its power.
