Levenhuk 740T Trinocular Microscope is a wonderful instrument for research in transmitted light using the bright field method. The illumination system located in the lower part of the microscope allows for viewing transparent microscope samples and slides. You can install a digital camera (not included) on the microscope’s trinocular head in order to see observed images on a PC or laptop display. Levenhuk 740T Microscope is designed for laboratory, bacteriological, cytological, and clinical research. It can also be applied in amateur microscopic studies and for teaching purposes.
The microscope head has a convenient 45° inclination angle and can be rotated around its axis. Use this feature when observing in a group to show the observed sample to your colleagues or students. The wide 40x-2000x magnification range allows for almost any microscopic research. You can easily change magnification power of the instrument by turning the revolving nosepiece and switching the objectives. You can do this whenever you choose, without interrupting your observations. The microscope comes with four achromatic objectives; one of them is immersion-type lens. Placing a drop of special oil (in the kit) between the objective lens and the slide, you can see many new details when observing at high magnification. Image sharpness can be adjusted by using the fine and coarse focusing mechanism.
The stage (where the specimen is placed for observation) is equipped with metal clips and can be moved vertically and horizontally. Underneath the stage is a lighting system: bright LED illumination with adjustable brightness, Abbe condenser, and iris diaphragm. They allow to precisely focus the light on the observation area and adjust the intensity of light. Regardless of magnification power, you will see a bright and clear image of the observed specimen.
The microscope kit also includes a special dust cover for storage.
